Last year there were 57 boats in 7 classes divided into racing and
cruising divisions. Skippers should not be overwhelmed with a crowded
starting line.
Shore side activities on Friday and Saturday nights are followed by a truly
exceptional banquet following the awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
All boats, including the classics, participate in a parade of sail before the
first race Sunday morning.
Avocet and Breakaway both reported that they distinguished themselves
last year; and they are not going to miss another shot at it this year. Len

intends to join the competition. If two more BWSC boats participate, there
Moorings are available thru Dockwa at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club
and Carousel Marina. Lockwood has obtained mooring reservations at the
Tugboat Inn at $40 per night.
Entry is open to monohulled boats with valid PHRF New England
certificates. PHRF certificates are available at www.phrfne.org. The Notice
