DIY Solar Panel and Refrigeration: Planning and Installation

Bernie Coyne will discuss his recent DIY project of adding solar panels and new refrigeration to his J/46 Mystic Rose.  The topics will include solar panel investigation, selection, installation and usage as well as a discussion of 12 volt refrigeration selection, installation and benefits. Bernie will be joined by Steve Lee who will discuss a simpler out-of-the-box approach to solar. Bernie and Steve are very enthusiastic about their DIY projects and want to share how easy it is for anyone to accomplish some serious upgrades to their own boat.

Cost is $10 per person.
