Sorry to miss the Southern Cruise but our vacation time didn’t line up. Auguste and Oi aboard Pax (Bavaria Vision 42) will leave New Haven CT around 7/23 and work our way east towards the Vineyard, Buzzards Bay and Block Island. Back home by 8/15. Beyond this, our itinerary is flexible. We’ll be flying the burgee and would love to meet other Blue Water folks—we joined during the pandemic and haven’t been able to make connections.

Rick and Patty plan to sail from the Merrimack River, MA to Buzzards Bay, then out to the Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard July 3 to July 17 time frame mother nature and god willing. We plan to be in Vineyard Haven on the same day as the Southern Cruise July 12 and 13 so we will be flying our burgee. We leave VH on the 14th and plan to be in Cuttyhunk for the 15th covered dish event. Then we would like to find a spot in or around the Pocasset / Cataumet, MA area for the following 3 weeks while Patty travels. Then we plan to bring the boat back to the Merrimack River August 7th-14th. Anyone know of any moorings in the Parkers Boat Yard / Kingman's area that might be empty during that period? Looking forward to meeting some fellow BWSC members as we are new to the club. Happy sailing all. PS Anyone visiting Newburyport, MA looking for a mooring ours will be free from at least July 3 to July 17 and possibly through August 14th. Give us a call if you are interested in using our mooring.

Pouchy plans to join the Southern Cruise in Mattapoisett and continue along to Newport (where we need to arrange a car to get us to Arlington for the night and rejoin in the morning). We plan to continue to Bristol and Dutch Island Harbor before turning back east and then north.
