This cruise hauls out in Baddeck at Baddeck Marine. Owner is Stuart. Office folks are Flossy and Cindy. 902-295-2434. Send email to flossy@baddeckmarine.com. They will offload your sails and cushions and store them at their hourly rate for general mechanical work: $75.00 per hour. Storage is onsite and free but limited. Make your reservations now if you want them to store your sails and cushions. If you want inside storage for your boat, reserve now because inside storage fills quickly. Their rates as of last April are on a slide in my April 2023 seminar recorded and available on our BWSC webpage.
They will handle our flotilla but appreciate a heads up if we have boats in the double digits. I have reserved verbally for Avocet for outside storage and their loft for my cushions and sails. I will update them as necessary depending on how cruise registration develops. At our crew meeting to be scheduled, I will have their haul out and work order forms for you.
Their travel lift handles up to 70 tons, max beam 20 feet, max draft 10 feet. Boats are transported over land to the storage yard. They can haul up to 15 feet in height. They routinely remove radar poles for this purpose. With a draft of 8 feet, Avocet's radar pole will be coming down... and I will be checking with the haulers up in Eliot Maine to see what they have for Avocet's height and/or their max height limitation. Avocet was trailered in 2016-2017.
